Integration with Viber

Creating a Viber Chat Bot

To integrate, you'll first need to create a bot on your own and obtain its token.

To create a chat bot for Viber, visit the Viber Admin Panel website (https://partners.viber.com/about). Log in using the phone number associated with your Viber account.

Click on Create Bot Account and fill out all the required fields.

  • Account Image - An image that will be displayed in the bot's profile and as an icon in messages.
  • Account Name - The name that will appear in the bot's header.
  • URI - An identifier that will be appended to the bot's link.
  • Category - The category of the account for which you're setting up the bot.
  • Account Description - A description of the bot being created, which will be displayed under the logo. For example, you can specify what your company does and how the bot can be helpful.
  • Website Address - The address of your website.
  • Email Address - The email address through which users can contact you.
  • Location - Your location.

The token will be automatically generated after creating the bot. If the bot has already been created, you can find the token on the same website under the Info tab.

 

Setting Up Sales Space

Navigate to the Sales menu -> Sales Spaces. This menu displays all the spaces where products or services will be sold. To create a new space, click on the Create Sales Space button. Enter the name and click the Create button.

Next, go to the Integrations section. Here you can see a list of connected integrations. Click on the created integration to open its settings. To create a new integration, click the Add Integration button. Enter the name, select the type of integration - chat bot, and connect the category catalog. We create catalogs on the adjacent tab. This list includes the categories for the products you want to sell in this integration.

After creation, the system opens the settings page. Proceed to the Chat Bots section.

 

Connecting Your Chat Bot

In this section, you connect the created chat bots. To connect, click on the Add button.

  • Active - Allows you to activate/deactivate the chat bot.
  • Bot Token - The API token for the chat bot.
  • Messenger - Viber.

You can connect multiple chat bots to a single integration.
